THE SILENT RISKS ON SITE – A GUIDE TO SITE HEALTH HAZARDS
BAWA, 5th November 2026, 08:00 – 12:30 Book your free place here: Eventbrite Booking FREE
Some of the biggest risks in construction aren’t always the ones we can immediately see.
Dust. Isocyanates. Noise. Lead.
These everyday hazards can have a lasting impact on the health of the people working across our industry.
CONIAC’s Working Well Together (WWT) initiative is holding a free half-day event in Bristol, supported by IOSH Bristol & West Community, focused on practical ways to recognise and manage these risks.
We’ll be covering:
🫁 Dust & isocyanates and keeping lungs safe
👂 Noise & hearing loss and protecting hearing
🏚️ Lead in paint and working safely in older buildings and refurbishments
💪 Simple health support and practical ways to look after physical wellbeing
WWT is all about providing practical support to the construction industry, and this event is particularly focused on helping smaller contractors, SMEs and self-employed tradespeople understand what they can do to protect themselves, their workers and their businesses.
But everyone involved in construction is welcome.
Whether you’re a business owner, tradesperson, designer, site manager, safety professional, or you plan, manage or influence construction work, come along.
You don’t need to be a member of WWT or IOSH. Members, non-members, large or small, if you’re involved in construction, you’re welcome.
You’ll hear from industry experts, have the opportunity to ask questions and, most importantly, leave with practical information you can put into action.
