Safety Consultant / Client Relationship Executive (Construction, IIRSM)
Stroud, Gloucestershire (Office/Field Based - covering the UK)

As a multi-disciplinary safety consultancy, our client provides training for more than 7000 people a year, right across the UK and in all industry and construction sectors. An opportunity has now arisen for a Safety Consultant / Client Relationship Executive to join their team.

This is the ideal role for a safety management professional with a construction industry background and CMIOSH / IIRSM membership looking to further their career with a dynamic and growing business. Our client supports and develops their staff and encourages them to achieve their career goals.

As a Safety Consultant / Client Relationship Executive, you will be tasked with developing business with existing clients and developing new business within the construction sector. This will include providing construction design and management, risk assessment development and site safety audits.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for liaising with consultants and other colleagues to ensure effective and efficient delivery of service to clients. In addition to following up leads, you will produce proposal documents, quotations and associated correspondence.

Although office based, you will be required to travel to customer sites throughout the South and Midlands, and occasionally further afield.

Your other duties will include:

- attending face-to-face appointments
- occasionally delivering safety training
- preparing clear and comprehensive reports

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- construction industry experience
- safety management experience
- either a degree or an excellent track record gained within the construction safety sector
- at a minimum, IIRSM membership

Additionally, as a Safety Consultant / Client Relationship Executive, you should be an effective and confident communicator with an assertive and confident approach.

Although not essential, being a full corporate member of IOSH would be beneficial to your application.
